ZOOM LISTENING SESSION – OCTOBER 29, NOON ET
Cameroon Advocacy Network to Biden Administration: End Trump Deportation Policy; Designate TPS for Cameroon
Washington, DC – As the Biden administration continues to deport people to violence and arrest in Cameroon, the most impacted people are bravely speaking up, demanding safety and dignified treatment in the United States.
Following a non-stop week of action on Capitol Hill, the Cameroon Advocacy Network is hosting a virtual listening session for media, policymakers, and activists on Friday, October 29, at noon ET / 9am PT. Check out this new backgrounder for more information on CAN.
Individuals whose lives are haunted by deportation will talk about how two changes in U.S. policy—both within the authority of the Executive Branch—would alleviate some of their fears and allow them to start new lives with some stability, safety, and freedom.
